'The Talk' Host Sheryl Underwood Spreads Cheer On TV Hill Ahead Of Local Stand-Up Gig

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—One of the stars of the CBS daytime show "The Talk" will headline this weekend at a local comedy club, but she first stopped by our studios.

Mike Schuh tried to get a word in edgewise.

The women on "The Talk"...Well, they can talk.

So we were not disappointed when co-host Sheryl Underwood visited us here at WJZ.

She is someone who spreads the cheer.

So popular is she, half the people who work here needed to take a picture.

Underwood is in Baltimore doing stand-up comedy.

"I need all yah'll to come out because I need the money because I made a mistake on my credit cards," Underwood joked.

Caution: when doing stand-up, she cuts loose.

"These men love they momma," Underwood said in a stand-up bit.

In fact, that's about all we can publish from that bit.

She's funny, flirty,  blunt, bold, beautiful and obviously bright.

"Leonardo DiCaprio. That's who you look like. Look at those eyes. Don't he look like Candy on Django Unchained?" Underwood said to Schuh. "Look, the black people very upset because it's almost February. We can't have no movies."

"You do look like Leo DiCaprio," Underwood continued. "Put him in some ice water and see what happens to him.  He going to start singing the theme to the 'Titanic.'"

Underwood will be appearing in Timonium on Friday and Saturday night at Magooby's Joke House. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.

You can watch "The Talk" on WJZ-TV weekdays at 2 p.m. Next week the show will be live in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl.
