Hundreds Of Ravens Fans Attend Pep Rally At White Marsh Mall

WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ)— The closer we get to the Super Bowl, the more fans are getting excited. On Wednesday, hundreds of Ravens fans showed up in the middle of the day for a rally at White Marsh Mall.

Monique Griego explains purple pride continues to shine bright in Baltimore.

White Marsh Mall was packed with purple and black as a wave of Ravens fans flocked in for a M&T Bank rally.

"You could feel the energy in the air when we won the playoff game last week. It's just, it's absolutely awesome," said Ally Watt, Ravens fan.

A picture perfect atmosphere had people posing with Poe, a free keepsake they can treasure forever.

"It's going to go right next to all my other Ravens stuff," said a Ravens fan.

Fans can't seem to get enough autographs or purple pride memorabilia.

"The Ravens going to the Super Bowl, we've been waiting for this for 12 years," said Marc Belzner, Ravens fan.

And the fans here are definitely starting off young.

Callie Roessler loves Ray Lewis so much that she even learned his dance.

She was only part of a very large group of Ravens crazy kids--all sure to be diehards of the future.

"If she don't have her Ravens jersey on during the football game she gets very mad," said Chrissy Phelps of her daughter.

Now with the big game just days away, fans hope all this energy equals a big win.

"The Ravens are gonna beat the 49ers all the way," Belzner said.

"Oh, I'm ready. We got this. We got this," Watt said.

If you missed Wednesday's rally, there will be another M&T Bank rally Friday at noon at Towson Town Center.
