ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. (WJZ) —  Aberdeen Proving Ground officials continue to investigate the discovery of a body at the Army facility’s ordnance pond.

The body was found Wednesday at around 2:30 p.m. at the Unexploded Ordnance Range pond.

Emergency personnel from Aberdeen Proving Ground and local authorities responded to the scene.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
