OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) — A Baltimore County man is behind bars, accused of stabbing his own roommate.

It happened Thursday in the 9000-block of Reisterstown Road.

That’s where police say a fight broke out between Orlando Martinez and his 34-year-old roommate Luis Andrade-Medrano.

Officers say Martinez was stabbed several times as the brawl spilled out of their Owings Mills home. He escaped to a nearby business for help.

Andrade-Medrano was later arrested.

Martinez is being treated at Shock Trauma for non-life threatening injuries.
