WEATHER BLOG: Cold Purple Friday
Wave of low pressure really enhanced especially over the eastern shore Friday morning where some places got several inches of snow in a few hours time. As that feature heads out to sea, we keep the cold and gusty wind Friday afternoon
with varying amounts of sun and clouds.
There are no changes to the forecast going forward as we will have a series of weak systems coming through. Timing of this thing over the weekend looks OK with flurries Saturday night into Sunday but probably no big deal. It may pull a fast one along or off the coast like this one Saturday morning did but we are fairly confident that it would be well east and northeast of here. Timing of any systems beyond the weekend may need to be adjusted as they get closer but look OK for now.
