What is the Orioles payroll for 2013 & what players are the looking at? Can the O’s compete again in 2013?

Jim Duquette on the O’s offseason: “I’m a little surprised they didn’t do more, I don’t think they’ve done enough but they are still a good team.”

On repeating the successful 2012 campaign: “The offense has taken a step back, I think the pitching has gotten a little bit better.”
“There is a little bit of a risk when you come back with a team (where) everything had to go right to get to where they did last year…(and) come back to with the same club”

On competing in the AL East
“As long as they are able to maintain financial flexibility…to go get a piece at the deadline”
