BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police are investigating a fatal shooting that involved three police officers in Bladensburg.

Bladensburg Police say officers were called to an apartment building Friday night where a woman was brandishing a knife in the hallway. The department says the woman lunged at the officers with the knife, and the officers fired their weapons at the woman.

The woman was taken to Prince George’s Hospital Center where she died. The woman was not immediately identified.

The officers have been placed on administrative leave while the Prince George’s County police department investigates.
