BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A portion of Light Street will temporarily close this weekend for the removal of a pedestrian bridge.
The closure starts Friday at 10 p.m.
Light Street will be closed to through traffic between Conway and Pratt Streets with detours in effect. This portion of Light Street will remain closed until 5 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.
Local traffic will be permitted on Light Street south of Pratt Street, and detours will give patrons access to businesses affected by this demolition.
Motorists should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
