MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WJZ/AP) — Baltimore County police say three people were shot, one fatally, in Middle River.

The shooting occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. Monday. Police say they got a call about shots being fired in the 2100-block of Eastern Boulevard. Arriving officers found three victims on the scene — two men and a woman — suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital, where Robert Holiday, 27, died.

Detectives have learned the three were standing on the street near the bus stop on Eastern Boulevard when the suspect/suspects approached them and began shooting.

There is no suspect description at this time, and the circumstances around the shooting remain under investigation.

Detectives are investigating whether there might be a connection between the victims and the suspects.

The other two victims — a 27-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, are still recovering from their injuries.
