Md. Pair Arrested In 4 Burglaries
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- The Carroll County Sheriff's Office have arrested two people in connection with four burglaries in which items worth more than $58,000 were stolen.
William Scottie Bircher II, 25, and Shannon Lee, 26, both of Westminster, were charged Friday with burglary and theft.
Deputies say the thefts occurred between June and November, when the homes were broken into and jewelry, coins, firearms and other small items were taken.
Police say Bircher and Lee were arrested after they were seen breaking into a home. A search warrant was executed on their home and deputies say about $25,000 in stolen property was recovered.
