NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Erik Etherly scored 26 points and Loyola (Md.) came back to beat Tennessee State 69-67 Saturday.

Loyola trailed by 12 with less than 8 minutes to play, but a 19-5 run put the Greyhounds (20-9) in front.

It’s the first time in Division I Loyola has won 20 games in back-to-back seasons.

Patrick Miller scored 17 points, Kellen Thornton had 15, Jordan Cyphers 11 and Robert Covington 10 for the Tigers (17-11), whose two-game winning streak ended. It was Tennessee State’s first home loss of the season.

Tennessee State led 49-38 at halftime, but the Tigers shot 6 of 22 in the second half. The Greyhounds finally caught the Tigers at 67-67 with 2:57 left, and Cormier’s two free throws with 11 seconds left sealed the victory.
