OVERLEA, Md. (WJZ)— A Baltimore County worker found human skeletal remains in a wooded area next to Overlea High School just before 1:30 p.m. Monday.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit responded to the location to begin an investigation.

The remains were sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for examination.

At this time, no further information is known about the remains or why they might have been near the school.
