ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s Bay Bridge is under a wind restriction as a snowstorm moves into the area.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said Wednesday at about 9:30 a.m. that house trailers and empty box trailers will not be able to travel on the bridge that passes over the Chesapeake Bay. That restriction remained in place into the afternoon.
Other vehicles that law enforcement personnel believe may not safely cross the bridge will also be prohibited from traveling across it.
