CATONSVILLE, Md.(WJZ) — A Baltimore County police officer is treated at Shock Trauma after crashing her police car into a tree.
It happened overnight near Route 40 in Catonsville.
Police say Officer Tia Bynum, 28, was responding to a call with her lights and siren on when she had to swerve to avoid another car and hit a tree.
The other car wasn’t hit and did not stop.
