Baltimore Sun Maryland beat reporter Jeff Barker joined me talk about how devastating the North Carolina loss was to the Terps NCAA chances. Their last chance to prove themselves will be against Virginia on their home court.

Turnovers have been a factor all season and hasn't seemed to improve at all throughout the season. The guard play has been suspect at best, with no one point guard and leader for the team. Faust, Howard and Wells are more of shooters than the organizer of the offense.

We also talked about Alex Len's future in College Park. Will he stay or go? If he does go, who will step up and fill the big man roll? Shaq Cleare?

Will expectations for incoming guard Roddy Peters be too high? "Probably so. You can't judge how quickly someone is going to adapt to the college game."

Has head coach Mark Turgeon lost the faith of some Maryland fans? "I think they are." The honeymoon phase is over and the fans are being much more critical.
