EDGEWOOD, Md. (WJZ)— A family is displaced after a fire broke out Saturday night in their Harford County home.

Firefighters say the blaze happened Saturday around 8 p.m. in the 1700-block of Harbinger Trail in Edgewood.

When they arrived, flames were pouring out of the roof.

Investigators say everyone was able to get out safely, but one volunteer firefighter received burns to his upper body.

Medics rushed the 18-year-old firefighter to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center, where he was treated and released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
