LEONARDTOWN, Md. (AP) — A 79-year-old farmer has died in an accident in Leonardtown.
St. Mary’s County sheriff’s deputies say Robert Jarboe was run over by his own tractor on Sunday.
Investigators believe he either inadvertently placed the tractor into gear or fell from it while it was moving. He ended up beneath the tractor and was run over. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
