Body Found In Clear Spring

CLEAR SPRING, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Police say the body of a man has been found in a wooded area near the railroad tracks in Clear Spring.

Police say they were called Monday around 4:30 p.m. to the area of Ashton Road and Big Pool Road.

Maryland State Police Cpl. James Updegraff says officials do not suspect foul play, but the person has not been positively identified and the cause of death has not yet been determined.

The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
