Vinny Cerrato: Boldin Trade--Good For All Parties
The trade by the 49ers for Anquan Boldin was good for all 3 parties involved.
The Ravens made out well. They got a 6th round pick for a player they asked to take a 2 million dollar pay cut and he rejected.
Baltimore would have cut Anquan today and received nothing.
The 49ers have 12 draft pick with giving up a 6th was not a difficult decision, they would of given a 7th round pick but the Vikings offered that so they had to beat the Minnesota pick by giving the 6th.
The Niners had Randy Moss last year and Anquan is an upgrade.
For Anquan he makes out because he keeps his dignity by not getting cut. He was traded which sounds and is perceived much better. Plus he got his 6 million.
The trade is a win for all 3.
