BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Ravens continue their dramatic off-season makeover. Another popular player is gone.
Hard-hitting safety Bernard Pollard was released Wednesday.
The move saves the team about $1 million on the salary cap.
Pollard sent out a tweet saying:
“Raven Nation, it’s been fun. My time in Baltimore is done… Thank you.”
Between cuts and retirement, the Ravens have lost six starters from last season’s championship team.
