3 People Charged In Middle River Shooting
MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police have charged the mother of a man's child and her new boyfriend in the man's death.
Robert Holiday, 27, of Baltimore was shot and killed last month as he stood with two friends near a bus stop in Middle River. His friends were also shot but survived.
Police announced Friday that first-degree murder charges have been filed against 24-year-old Laquesha Lewis; her boyfriend, 22-year-old Michael Martin; and his brother, 20-year-old Mikal Martin.
Police say Lewis and Holiday have a child together and had a fight on the day of the shooting. Police say Lewis was talking to Holiday on the phone as she texted Michael Martin about his whereabouts. Police say they're not sure whether one or both of the Martin brothers fired the shots.
