BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore is home to another world champion team.
The Baltimore Blast beat the Missouri Comets 8-6 in game two of the MISL Championship Series to clinch the 2013 title.
The Blast, shut out in the first half of the game, battled on and scored four second half goals to get the come-from-behind victory.
This is the seventh championship for the Baltimore Blast.
On Friday, Blast coach Danny Kelly won “Coach of the Year” and Blast player Mike Lookingland won for “Defender of the Year.”
