The guys discussed what it means to be voted most courageous by his former Giant teammates and what he brings to the Ravens defense.

Chris Canty On being a Raven:

“…I’m excited to be a Baltimore Raven.”

“It’s been a blessing, I’ve never been on a losing team throughout my NFL career. So, I’m just excited to come into another organization with a tradition of excellence & hopefully we can make it back to back Super Bowls.”

On his signature big face mask:

“I’ve been wearing it since my rookie year; I have to wear it in order to play. I’m definitely going to be bringing that here to Baltimore, it’s kind of my trademark…I’ll have that on as well as #99.”

On his leadership abilities:

“We’ve lost a lot of leaders in the locker room this off season with some free agent departures & some retirements, but I am excited to be able to help fill some of that void.”

His opinion of Joe Flacco:

“In my honest opinion I think he’s just starting to come into his own…I just think we are seeing the tip of the iceberg. I really do think he’s going to improve; he’s going through that transition period that Aaron Rodgers went through, that Eli Manning went through & he’s just really starting to come into his own. So, I’m excited about his potential moving forward into the future, I think he’s only going to get better.”
