Anne Arundel Co. Police Investigate Assault At Gambrills Restaurant

GAMBRILLS, Md. (WJZ) --  Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an assault at a Gambrills restaurant.

Police say a 28-year-old man was assaulted inside the Irish Channel Restaurant & Pub.

Officers say the fight took place inside the bar.  Investigators say the victim was knocked to the ground and punched and kicked by several people.

The victim is currently hospitalized and being treated for his serious injuries.

Detectives need help identifying the suspects in the assault.
