3-Year-Old Girl Struck In Denton Driveway
DENTON, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are investigating how a 3-year-old girl was struck by a car and seriously injured in Denton.
WBOC-TV reports police were called to the driveway of a house on Friday evening.
Police say James Michael Ray Alton Jr., 25, told investigators he accidentally struck the 3-year-old girl while she was playing behind his vehicle. The toddler was flown to Johns Hopkins medical center for treatment.
Police say charges against the driver are pending.
