WEATHER BLOG: Hello Sunshine!

We have used this title before, but not many times in the last few weeks.  Saturday was definitely worthy of it, though.  Sun only mixed with a few clouds, helping warm us up to 60 degrees Saturday afternoon.  That makes this one of the few days with highs actually above average.  In fact, March is running 2.9 degrees below average.

Temperatures will probably come up a couple degrees shy of average Sunday as clouds return.  It looks like rain should hold off until after early morning services and egg hunts, but it will move in and continue into the evening.  This round of rain will move away Monday, just as another front brings some showers again late Monday and Monday night.  Some sun will peek out before that second front, helping to warm us back to the low 60s Monday before a new round of cold air follows the front for the middle of the week.  Highs will struggle to the upper 40s Tuesday, then only get to near 50 on Wednesday.

High pressure will bring sunshine back Wednesday and Thursday.  However, a new front will be moving our way - possibly for the home opener Friday.  Temperatures will jump close to 60 Thursday before dropping again with the chance of rain Friday.  We will keep a close eye on this forecast, so stay tuned.
