WEATHER BLOG: Enjoy The Sunshine While It Lasts

Hope you had a chance to enjoy the sunshine earlier with temperatures jumping to the mid 60s. Because that sun has now given way to clouds and spotty showers as the next cold front crosses Maryland.  And a cold front it is.  Temperatures will drop from the 60s Monday to 40s Tuesday.

Gusty winds will bring in that colder air starting Monday night, and keep it over the mid-Atlantic through Wednesday.

Highs will only get to the upper 40s Tuesday and then near 50 on Wednesday.  By Thursday, the winds will calm down and temperatures will start jumping.  We will get back to the upper 50s.  However, there will already be another front making its way toward Maryland at this time.

That front is coming up from the south.  Sunshine on Thursday will give way to increasing clouds and eventually rain.  The rain should hold off until Thursday night, continuing into Friday-- yes, for the home opener.  We will keep a close eye on this, so make sure you check back.

But with rain around, temperatures will take another hit on Friday before jumping back to the upper 50s/60 over the weekend.
