Rich Dubroff's Predictions
Rich Dubroff from CSN Baltimore joined me to talk about the start of the 2013 Major League Baseball season. In particular, we discussed the Baltimore Orioles.
Rich explained that, even though the Orioles didn't sign a major free-agent, Baltimore is still a force to be reckoned with in the AL East. After all the Giants, who won the World Series, are bringing back virtually the same team.
We talked about the Baltimore starting rotation and if it's expecting too much for the bullpen to repeat it's great 2012 performance.
How good will the lineup be for manager Buck Showalter? Rich gives us his opinion on that and the Orioles defense.
Rich shared his thoughts on the excitement of Opening Day and gave us his AL East predictions:
- Toronto Blue Jays (skeptically)
- Baltimore Orioles (need some dominant starting pitching)
- Tampa Bay Rays
- Boston Red Sox
- New York Yankees (they completely fall apart - old and weary)
