MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)— Three people are displaced after a two-alarm fire destroyed their home.

Fire officials say it happened around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 100-block of Kentucky Avenue in the Lake Shore.

A total of 66 firefighters were called to the scene, as the two-story single family home was engulfed in flames.

The incident was placed under control within 45 minutes and caused more than $250,000 in damage to the home.

Three adults and one child were displaced from the home, but did not require Red Cross help.

No one was hurt.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
