Snow Hill Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a Snow Hill man has been killed in a two-vehicle collision in Salisbury.
It happened about 7 p.m. Thursday at Md. Route 350 and Sixty Foot Road. Troopers say Hugh Gingery Jr., 55, failed to stop at the stop sign and his van crashed into a pickup truck driven by Jeffrey James Dean, 40, of Salisbury.
Police say both vehicles ended up in a ditch. Gingery's van fell onto the driver's side.
Troopers say Gingery, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that Dean and a passenger in his truck were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
