ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Gov. Martin O’Malley is headed to Denmark for a conference on progressive governance.

The conference in Copenhagen is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

Raquel Guillory, O’Malley’s spokeswoman, said O’Malley was scheduled to leave Wednesday evening. She says he is scheduled to return Saturday.

The conference will include political leaders and policymakers from across Europe and North America.

It has been organized by Policy Network and Global Progress. It is being hosted by Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
