BOSTON (AP) — Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said that Thursday’s starting pitcher Chris Tillman and another teammate were in a very minor accident en route to Fenway Park for the Orioles’ game against the Boston Red Sox.
Showalter said Tillman and right-hander Miguel Gonzalez were in a taxi traveling to the park when it was tapped from behind. The manager explained that no one was hurt.
Tillman made his scheduled start.
