Truck Crashes Into Grocery In Effort To Steal ATM

NEW MARKET, Md. (AP) — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says at least two people drove a truck into the front of a New Market grocery in an effort to steal an ATM.

It happened at the Food Lion on Old National Pike. Deputies tell the News-Post of Frederick the truck that was driven into the supermarket had been stolen from a Mount Airy business.

The suspects were unable to get to the ATM and left, leaving the truck behind.
