Teen Girl Charged With Making Fake Bomb Threat

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- A 13-year-old girl has been charged with making a bomb threat at West Middle School Tuesday.

School officials called police after a student found a threatening note. Officers and canine teams searched the building and parents were notified.

The threat was determined to be a hoax and students were back in class by noon.

The teen has been charged as a juvenile and released into the custody of her parents.
