Most of us will stay dry with partly sunny skies as we finish out Wednesday.

A warm front will then filter in warmer air from the south before exiting the region early Friday.

An approaching cold front will then increase our chances for showers and even a possible thunderstorm by Friday afternoon with the bulk of the rainfall occurring overnight.

Cooler air then moves in behind the front for the weekend with high temps only reaching into the low 60s and overnight lows near 40 degrees.
