Steve Davis: Concern For Orioles’ Pitching Staff

It’s early but you have to be a little concerned about the Orioles’ pitching staff.

Through the first 14 games, not a single starter has thrown at least 7 innings. In half of the starts, the starter has only gone 5.

At this rate, the Orioles will gas the bullpen.

At least they could send Arrieta down if necessary; Tillman has no options left so they really need him to straighten it out and quick.

Like I said, there is plenty of time to straighten this out, but they do have to get some more innings out of the rotation.
