Gov. O'Malley Departs For 8-Day Trip To Israel
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Governor Martin O'Malley sets off on an eight-day trip to encourage trade.
The governor is traveling to Israel and Jordan to promote Maryland as a destination for business.
O'Malley will meet with Israel's president and other government officials.
He was originally supposed to go on this trip last fall, but it was rescheduled because of the violence in the Gaza Strip.
The mission is O'Malley's third to Israel.
