WEATHER BLOG: Keep A Winter Jacket Handy
Don’t put the winter jackets away just yet! Temps have turned much colder for this time of year. Just when we were starting to get used to warmer, “summer-like” weather, things have changed again. For the next three days, our temps will be below “normal” for this time of year. The “normal” high is around 66 and low 44. We are looking at highs near 60 degrees and lows in the 30s for a couple of days before the mercury rises again. So you will most likely want to have your winter jacket handy, especially at night.
Overall, we will finish out the weekend nicely! Mostly clear skies Saturday night will make way for great radiational cooling, bringing our temperatures down into the mid 30s. Expect ample sunshine on Sunday with highs near 60 degrees. We’ll have a few brief chances for rain Monday evening and Tuesday morning, but it won’t amount to much. Our next chance for a more measurable rain will come on Wednesday.
Have a great weekend!
