2 Hurt In Glen Burnie House Fire

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A house fire in Anne Arundel County sends two people, including a firefighter, to the hospital and leaves a family homeless.

Crews responded to reports of a fire in the 6400-block of Lamplighter Ridge in Glen Burnie.

At the scene, they found a man inside a burning two-story townhouse.

He was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation.

Several pets were killed in the blaze and a firefighter also suffered minor injuries.

At least three homes were damaged. The Red Cross is helping one displaced family.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
