3 Hurt In Mobile Home Fire

FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say three people have been injured in a mobile home fire in Frostburg.

The fire was reported about 10 p.m. Tuesday. About 50 firefighters from several companies battled the blaze, which destroyed the mobile home. Two neighboring homes sustained exterior heat damage.

Sixty-three-year-old Patsy Porter was flown to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center in Baltimore, where she is in critical condition with burns to her face and upper torso.

Sixty-two-year-old Glenn Porter and 52-year-old Maria Porter were taken to a Cumberland hospital with smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
