WEATHER BLOG: Goodbye Sunshine

We had a gorgeous start to the day but clouds invaded our airspace quick! The metro area became overcast by around 1 p.m. So we can say “so long” to high pressure for the time being as a trough of low pressure will be starting us off on an unsettled weather pattern for the next couple of days.

A few intermittent light rain showers have already moved across the region over the past few hours and this is expected to continue overnight. Monday will be a soggy day with off and on rain, ranging anywhere from 0.25-0.5 inches. Temps will be cool too, only reaching 60 degrees for the afternoon high.

We will slowly warm up through the week with the expected return of sunshine by Friday.
