WEATHER BLOG: Cooler & Wetter

We are in for much cooler and wetter weather conditions for the next couple of days. An area of low pressure has already brought drenching rains to the Carolinas and Deep South. It will somewhat strengthen Monday afternoon and evening, enhancing the flow of air coming in off the Atlantic Ocean. This will filter more moisture up the Eastern Seaboard later Monday. Rainfall estimates for the metro area range between 0.25"-0.5".

Tuesday is expected to be soggy, as well, with occasional rain and drizzle and high temps only reaching near 64 degrees. We are keeping rain in the forecast through Wednesday, followed by clearing and drying out on Thursday... just in time for a nice weekend!
