WEATHER BLOG: Seasonable Temps & Sunshine
April Summary:
We set a new daily high temperature April 10 at BWI reaching 91 degrees. That was the hottest day of the month! Our total monthly precipitation weighed in at 2.2", that is just under 1" below normal for the month of April.
Forecast:
We are starting off the month of May perfectly, sitting under mostly sunny skies region-wide with temps in the 60s. I expect a few spots will reach into the low 70s before the day is done. Tonight, a few clouds may fill in making skies partly cloudy while overnight lows will dip into the mid 40s. Overall, it will be a typical spring night for us.
A gorgeous stretch of weather will finish out the work-week--a big change from the dreariness of Monday and Tuesday. Highs will flirt around the 70 degree benchmark with abundant sunshine. The weekend looks good too!
Clouds are forecast to fill in on Monday ahead of our next chance of rain.
For now, enjoy the seasonable temps and sunshine!
