2 Firefighters Suffer Minor Burns In Prince George's Co. House Fire

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Two Prince George's County firefighters received minor burns when they battled a house fire in Capitol Heights.

The fire was reported about 3 p.m. Friday on Addison Road South. Firefighters who had entered the two-story wood-frame home were evacuated when conditions became dangerous. The adult occupant was found safe outside.

The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes. The two injured firefighters were taken to a burn unit.

Damage is estimated at $125,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
