'Suspicous Package' Under Investigation In Essex

ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police investigate a suspicious package in Essex.

Authorities say someone wearing a mask was reportedly seen throwing something into a U.S. Post Office mailbox at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Taylor Avenue.

Fire and hazmat crews were called to the scene, but found nothing hazardous.

Investigators are now trying to figure out exactly what happened and what specifically was tossed into the mailbox.
