Charges To Be Dropped In Bar Fight Death

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Court records indicate charges will be dropped against a man accused of killing another man during a bar fight in Keymar.

The Carroll County Times reports that manslaughter and other charges against 49-year-old Michael Grimes of Woodsboro will be dropped May 13 in Carroll County Circuit Court.

Grimes and others were accused in the death Sept. 2, 2011 of 26-year-old Craig Edward Myers of Rocky Ridge. Myers died after he was beaten in the parking lot of the Crossroads Inn in Keymar.
