Jerry Coleman joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn with breaking news on the Brian Roberts injury front.

It seems as though Brian Robert injury concerns are not getting any better. Brian will head to Dallas to see a Dr. Cooper after his knee injury suffered back at the beginning of the season. He took light batting practice and “didn’t feel right”.

Coleman breaks down the batting line-up for the game against the Royals Tuesday night. The team is happy to be back home, in their own beds after the long road trip on the west coast.

Buck Showalter talked about Manny Machado in the press conference. Buck is very confident in Manny’s play on offense as well as defense. Buck would just like to see some better hitting out of the rest of the team.

Miguel Gonzalez is having a blister issue and his next pitching appearance is still up in the air. Freddy Garcia could pitch again as soon as Friday.

Jeremy Guthrie, the former Orioles starting pitcher, is having a great season (4-0). Coleman said Buck spoke on Jeremy and how the trade worked out for both sides. Buck is still a Guthrie fan and wishes him all the luck in the world, just maybe not when they face off.
