Rob Neyer of SB Nation joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to break down the beginning month of the MLB season. Rob starts things off with the guys by breaking down the upcoming Kansas City Royals versus the Orioles match up. Rob talks about the moves that the Royals have made in the offseason, like the acquisition of James Shields. Rob then goes on to discuss Manny Machado and what we can expect from a player of his age. Following the Orioles taking the series against the Angels, Rob talks about the struggles that the Angels are having with the power and skill level in that lineup. Rob feels the Angels will get better especially when they’re pitching rotation comes back and is one hundred percent healthy. Neyer goes on to breakdown the starts that both the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees are both having right now. With the struggles that Phillies are having to start the season, Rob predicts they may be sellers come the trade deadline with hopes of freeing up some salary and rebuilding for next season. Speaking of the trade deadline Rob tells us who he thinks who could be buyers and sellers in hopes of a late season push.
