Jeremy Conn: Orioles Back in First
The Orioles are finally back where they belong, atop the AL East. The West coast trip we had was simply amazing. We won as many games in Oakland in one weekend as we had the last five years. They lost the series in Seattle, but bounce back and take 3 of 4 from the Angels. The O's have already won the series against the Royals, but have a chance at the sweep this evening.
The Orioles have winning close games with timely hitting and good pitching. We already know we have the best bullpen in baseball and we are slowly finding out that our defense isn't to far behind. The Red Sox have taken a bit of a tumble over the past week and now they are tied with the Orioles at the top of the division. Right now I'm hoping the pitching holds up and we can get some production out of second base and out of our DH. Keep winning series and we will be in the playoffs again this year.
