Players Championship Preview
John MaGinnes of the PGA Tour Network and the host of "MaGinnes on Tap" joined the "Glenn Younes Show" on Wednesday night to preview The Players Championship this weekend.
First up was the Vijay Singh deer antler spray drama. Vijay Singh was under investigation for using the deer antler spray. Vijay is now filed suit against the PGA Tour for defamation. John explained the PGA Tour' explanation"While you did something wrong, you didn't do anything against the anti-doping policy so the suspension is lifted".
PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
Glenn asked John to explain the meaning of The Players Championship to the world of golf. Both Glenn and John agreed this is one of the biggest events on the tour calendar. "This is the players event, this is aptly named in that regard. When Phil Mickelson won in 2007 he said i consider this a major championship. Its the strongest field of the year played on one of the toughest golf courses... Its one of the 84 events on the calendar that every player circles".
